:: Multi-sport Cross Adventure ::
For those who like a little of everything, you're going to love our Multi-sport Cross Adventure profile. Following this profile, you'll get a little selection of everything we do. Try this on for size:
Day 1 - Start off getting your feet wet. Depending on our trip schedules, choose one of:
- Dead River Small Raft Release - We do a handful of these trips each year. You get quite the ride in our smaller boats. This trip is more technical than others which starts your week off great. This trip launches on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season. Please check our schedule for more details.
- Dead River Inflatables - Recreational releases make the Dead River rapids awesome for inflatable kayaking. You power your own boat through and shoot through the drops in the rocky Dead River. Again, these trips are scheduled and start on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Check the schedule for more details.
- Kennebec River Rafting - Our most popular rafting trip runs daily throughout the season. With the white water of the Kennebec river, you'll be sure to enjoy your first day in your multi-sport adventure. These start on any day of the week. Midweek trips are cheaper than weekends.
Day 2 - Set your feet back on dry land or take to the sky. Choose one of:
- Rock Climbing Mt. Kineo - Perfect for beginner to intermediate climbers, our guides will support whatever level climb you're interested in. The climb overlooks a beautifully large lake. Minimum bookings are required for this trip, so check with us for more details.
- Moose River Valley Moose Spotting and Light Hike - If you want to do something easy, try a day hike to the largest waterfall in the New England area or take a road tour through pristine forrests looking for the valley famous Moose. Our guides know the best places to spot a Moose and will be glad to point you to these spots. This is a perfect activity for the kids. We'll run this trip with your young ones while you and the older kids are on the Rock Climb. This trip runs daily.
- Float Plane Tour of the Area - See the Moose River Valley from above with a chartered Float Plane ride. These trips are specialty trips and must be arranged with a local float plane pilot in advance. If you want to take to the sky, please let us know early so we can make the arrangements.
- Kennebec River Rafting - This old standby whitewater rafting trip runs daily. It's ok, you really can't get enough of this amazingly beautiful trip anyway.
Insider's Tip - Really any combination of activities can be put together, depending on schedule launches of each trip. Finding the perfect vacation requires mixing and matching all of the various activities offered.
Day 3 - This is your big water high thrill day. Choose one of:
- Penobscot River, Seboomook Section Inflatables - We take our inflatables out and make multiple runs down the Penobscot River below the Seboomook dam. This trip is nothing more than straight out fun. You'll be challenged by the waves, drops and pools in this short run. This trip will define your memories of your whole vacation. It's that fun! Trips launch daily, but depend on the number of bookings for that day. Please check with us for more details.
- Dead River Rafting - If you're lucky and the schedule works out, you might also be able to take in the Dead River at various water levels. The Dead River is an immense stretch of whitewater (the longest in stretch in New England). The scheduled launches for the Dead are limited, so please check the schedule for our launches on this river.
Day 4 - Half or full day of rafting is left. Choose one of:
