What to Expect

Great Water

Rafting with Windfall Outdoor Center means a trip on some of the best whitewater in the country. With daily dam releases, you're guaranteed a solid rafting experience no matter what time of year you come.

Best Equipment

We only use the newest and most state-of-the-art equipment. Just ask anyone how has been with us, we have the best equipment on the river. Not only does this help in delivering a consistent trip, but most importantly, ensures the high safety of our trips. You'll be riding a ultra modern self-bailing paddle raft and wearing a new life jacket, with nice paddles and an optional helmet.

Bus Shuttle

A shuttle bus takes us to the river and picks us up when we're done. No need worrying about how to find the right back country road. We depart after a thorough safety talk at the base.

Seasoned Guides

Each boat has a licensed Maine Whitewater Guide on board. The guides job is to provide you with the best experience, in terms of both thrill and safety. We only fit in an average of 8 people per raft, giving plenty of leg room but still plenty of power to manuever the raft.

Great Lunch

Ask anyone who's been with Windfall before, the lunches are just great! We provide a hearty river lunch at our own private river beach halfway down the start. The guides serve the lunch up, so all you do is sit back, relax, eat and watch the other guys' boats float by jealously watching you enjoy your feast.

Cool Show

After the day has ended, we head back to base for a slide show presentation of your paddling adventure. Tucked away along side of the biggest whitewater hits, we have a professional photography staff waiting to capture your moment.

Gear Rentals

We offer wet suit and spray jacket rentals. The total package (farmer john wet suit, spray jacket and booties) costs $15. Spray jacket only is $5. Trips before Jun. 1st and after Sept. 1st may require wet suits for your protection from the cold water. Safety first.
