Whitewater Rafting Guide

Windfall Outdoor Center offers a guide training course each spring beginning 5/29/2008 - 6/6/2008

Guiding the rivers of Maine is unique and thrilling experience. The position offers a mixture of excitement and responsibility. If you enjoy working with people in an outdoor environment, a sense of teamwork, and a good work ethic, then this may be an opportunity for you to learn and grow.

Training consists of 8 intense and demanding days. Days are spent gaining practical knowledge on the river followed by several hours of classes each evening. You will be certified in Basic First Aid and CPR, and we provide free lodging for the duration of training.

Costs:
State of Maine test fee - $100
Three year guide license - $87
Windfall training course - $250 *

* In exchange for signing a two year loyalty contract we will waive the training course fee.
