Waterfall Hikes
One of the great things about the north western mountains landscape in Maine is the natural water features. Some of these great spots can be pretty hard to find and seem more like local myths than reality. Our waterfall hikes take us to one of three locations within a few minutes drive from our base. Destinations are chosen each day depending on activity level of the group and previous experiences.
Let our staff lead you on short hikes a few of he most beautiful spots in Somerset County. Our favorite location is a prime spot for exploration. The initial hike in brings you the first set of falls where you can gaze at it from a small pebble beach or climb up and drop into a deep hole we call Snowcone. This may be scenic enough for some, but for the more adventurous hikers we can continue hiking above or below the falls to explore and find even more falls.
This three to four hour experience can be booked for a morning or an afternoon depending on your preference. Advanced registration is recommended to guaranteed a spot on the hike for any given day.
